To tell you the truth, I didn’t watch the unveiling of iPhone 4S because Jobs wasn’t presenting. All this while, I watched Apple events because Jobs was on stage. Nope, I did not watch those events just to be amazed by Apple product, I just wanted to see Jobs presenting.
Steve Jobs has this magic that nobody has. The way he presented new products captivates the audience worldwide. It doesn’t matter whether the product is as small as an iPod, or as big as an iPad, the way he did it always attracted people to watch him.
He’s a great businessman, a true marketer, a perfectionist and a visioner. He thinks differently and do things that he believes in although people around him didn’t approve. I can relate that to me.
Learn from the best. Know how these great people think and with that, I bought myself his biography written by Walter Isaacson. It’s pretty cheap really, the hardcover costs ~ 18 bucks plus another 10 for the shipping cost (inevitably). Get it here.
It was scheduled to be delivered home by January 2012, just in time when I arrive but received an email a couple of days ago saying that the book will arrive sooner, probably by December 2011.
I’m not an avid book reader. I’d prefer reading ebooks on the iPad instead of books. It’s much more convenient that way since I don’t have to bring the book everywhere but unfortunately haven’t had the chance to purchase my own iPad 2. Maybe I’ll get the next generation iPad.
I never knew Amazon ships to Malaysia, it was an impulse purchase. Paid using my Maybankard Visa Debit card without much hassle. Online shopping is such a bliss.

It’s easier to write him a biography while he’s dead than alive. Otherwise he’d have a lot to say. :D
Actually this one was in the making when he’s still alive. I think these days, those autobiography writers tend to start writing when their subjects are still alive.
There was one biography of him published in 2005 iCon: Steve Jobs. He banned the all of the publisher’s publications from Apples stores. He was a tough nut.
