Tiap-tiap tahun aku paling suka time PNB nak umumkan dividen ASB ni. Yelahkan dah besar panjang macam ni mana dapat duit raya lagi. Jadi tunggu dividen ASB ni je la sebagai pengganti duit raya.
Akaun ASB aku nih memang tak berusik duit dalam tu. Memang duit masuk situ tak akan keluar dah. Kena disiplin. Cuma hari tu ada terkeluar sekali sebab scholar lambat masuk. Kena ganti balik la nanti. Nak transfer terus dari Mayban2U boleh, tapi account Maybank2U aku dah kena sekat sebab salah password hari tu. So duit pun berlonggok la dalam Maybank tu. Selalunya aku sorok sikit duit letak dalam akaun ASB tu.
Aku tahu ada banyak lagi pilihan lain selain ASB. Sekarang ni yang popular Public Mutual la. Mungkin tahun depan la aku bukak kat Public Mutual pulak. Kalau nak melabur duit ni, diversiti tu penting. Kalau satu bahagian under perform, mungkin lagi satu performance dia bagus. Kurang-kurang dapatlah back up sikit kan.
Apa-apa pun harap dividen ASB tahun ni dapat sama atau lebih daripada tahun lepas la. Jangan kurang banyak daripada dividen ASB tahun lepas sudah.
Kepada kat luar tu yang masih belum start menyimpan, insaflah sikit. Duit ni bukan selalu ada. Kalau ada tu simpan sikit, jangan belanja semua. Korang bukannya tau pun masa depan nanti macam mana kan, at least kalau ade duit reserve boleh la juga back up di waktu kesusahan nanti.
Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) is expected to announce the dividend distribution income for Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) this coming Monday, its President and Group Chief Executive Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman said.
The dividend as usual will take into account the performance of PNB which has been able to provide good returns to its investors every year compared with other investment instruments with similar risks, he said.
PNB manages to consistenly give good returns to investors, he told reporters after handing over PNB’s business zakat amounting to RM1.7 million to Pahang”s Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council Chief, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, at the Istana Abdul Aziz here today.
Hamad Kama Piah said the current market also has not badly affected PNB’s performance.
He, however, declined to say whether ASB’s dividend this year will be better than the previous year.Asked on the prospects for PNB’s investments in 2010, he said based on the better economic growth projection for the country, PNB also expected the climate for investments to improve.
“We hope that the performance of share investments managed by PNB will be better,” he said, adding that the company will be investing in new instruments to increase its revenue.
Meanwhile, the amount of investments made by the people of Pahang in PNB operated share units amounts to RM4.2 billion or about four per cent of the total funds managed by PNB. — Bernama
