Schnee (deutsche) means snow in English. The title is in German, fancy huh? These pictures were taken in two separate occasions, last Friday evening till night and today afternoon till evening.
Went to GUM – glavnii universalnii magazin – main shopping center in Moscow. It is located at Red Square. Been there since 1900. It’s Christmas Eve (at least internationally since the Russian Christian Orthodox celebrate Christmas in January) yet the store is quite empty.
In the Muslim country of Malaysia, people flock the streets and shopping centers even though it’s not their Hari Raya celebration. During Hari Raya eve, again, they swarm the shopping centers. It’s either we love to shop or we just love to go to shopping malls.
This shopping mall has three streets all all the retailers are situated along the streets.
heh.. I bet you’ve never seen uniformed personnel doing some shopping in places like this.
I don’t know what’s the occasion; it’s either the model is doing a photo shoot for the pearls or the dress, or maybe even a pre-wedding photo shoot kind of stuff but managed to steal a single shot. Donn’t really want to bother her photographer.
Some guys were kidding around trying to push their friend into the snow pile.
At this time of year, GUM will open up a public ice rink at the Red Square. Ice skating at Red Square, how cool is that?
35mm Nikon F/1.8
I wish I have a newer much powerful body than my old D40 and something like 85mm F/1.4. Now that would be exciting.
As it gets darker.. and colder..
Went to Bolshoi Theater on the way back. This building is huge and majestic, thus the name Big Theater.
I always love shooting at this time of day. The sky will light up into that bluish color, instead of pitch black. But you have to endure the coldness, snow and wind.

Aku sentiasa simpan impian nak jejak mana-mana negara yang ada salji. Teringat dulu pernah minta kau kirimkan aku salji dan kau pos gambar je dekat blog. Heh. :)
Dan, Red Square bukan sentiasa dibuka eh?
