Security on alert for 'invasion'
PUTRAJAYA: The government is not taking lightly the invasion threat by Indonesia’s Benteng Demokrasi Rakyat (Bendera) and to wage war.
Bendera had allegedly threatened to send 1,500 troops — armed with sharpened
bamboo — to Malaysia by air, land and sea tomorrow. All relevant enforcement
agencies have been told to gear up for any possibility of members of the group penetrating Malaysian shores. Their sole mission is to “avenge all the alleged wrongs committed against Indonesia”.
Some interesting points here. First of all, BAMBOOS?????? Come on people, I don't think Indonesians are that dumb but this group claiming that they are trying to massacre a country with sharpened bamboos doesn't make them any smarter. Okay, come over, all of you and let the Malaysian armed forces shoot you down one by one so that we could be over with this.
Second, air transportation eh? Clearly your government is opposing this, so I don't think they'll fly in with their military air planes. What are other options? Right! AirAsia. Heard they're having a sale now, so tickets would be cheaper.
Third, 1500? Forget it.
I don't know what crap they are believing that triggered this kind of reaction. It's not enough that their country has lots of trouble already, yet they are still looking for one. I pity these people who actually believe whole-heartedly those sentiments that are being played by some invincible 'hands' behind the scene.
Probably there's something fishy about all this..
